Yeah! After knowing that Eva went to the Grouse Grind on Friday, I finally had the courage to challenge the Grouse Grind today with 8 other people.
Background info:Challenge yourself with Vancouver's most famous hike, the Grouse Grind - often referred to as Mother Nature's Stairmaster. This rigorous 2.9 km (1.8 mile) hike takes you straight up the face of Grouse Mountain. By the time you reach the plateau, your ascent will have gained 853 metres (2,800 feet) - one and a half times the height of Toronto's CN Tower! Once you make it to the top, take a minute to enjoy the adrenaline rush, spectacular views and all that you have accomplished.
Bonus: Kelly, Rock, Irene and I also had a little side trip to the Dam and Salmon Hatchery.
We were all exhaused after 2 hours of endless uphill hiking. Thank God for helping us throughout the trail. Lots of sightseeing activities at the peak (i.e. theater, grizzly bear habitat, live deer, etc.).
Legs are super sore right now but I bet all the after effects will not show until tomorrow. Tired but definitely a worthwhile trip! Good job everyone.

魚與熊掌, 今日兼得....haha
古語有云 "魚與熊掌, 不能盡得"~ haha
呢句話呢...係解成...如果有兩樣你都好想要既珍貴物品....得到一樣之后, 係無可能再要另外一樣既...
但係~ 今日同 wenice, kelly, rock 同一班大哥哥姐姐既 "grouse grind trip" 裡邊都係兩樣都得到呢... 好好笑~
我地第一站去 hatchery 睇魚~ haha...一小段的 trail...都幾辛苦~ 但係落到去真係好靚呢...唔錯唔錯, 又有導遊小姐 wenice 同副導遊 kelly姐姐...,haha 好好玩~
跟住我地就出發 hiking 啦~ 哎呀~ 好辛苦呀~ 行死我~~好高好高的山, 好陡好陡的坡, 仲有行極都行唔完既 trail.....haha, 行到我喘晒氣...仲抽筋 tim~~ (obviously due to the lack of exercises and my bad habit in swimming before!!!)...haha, luckily i manage to get up to the top...好勁呀, at that moment~ 我都唔信我自己到左呢....haha, 我都覺得自己好叻既~ conquer the mountain!!! haha same as everyone else la~ thanks wenice, uncle Norman, 同 rock 等埋我 and all the 加油s, especially for the 拐杖 from Rock la,,, otherwise, i think i may need to sleep in the middle of the hill 好恐怖...haha
(mom and bro called twice during my walk...i really 無氣同佢地講...haha, so funny!!!)
山上d 風景好靚呢, 有好多野 sightseeing sites, 有熊人啦, wolf 啦 (雖然見唔到狼), totems 啦, 仲有 deer 添...
haha, 又有魚又有熊...係咪真係魚與熊掌呢今次...幾貼題...好 match 的~
yea...i think all the hard work is worth it 的...haha, have so much fun le....thank wenice again for organizing, the tour guiding and the driving...haha

btw, 我都想帶細佬同媽咪爹哋去...haha, 要考慮下坐吊車上去等再行過呢..., i think you must at least try sth like this once in your life...咁你就知自己係無野做唔到架啦~~~ really need a good 意志力!!!
