6-7 Aug 2006 Camping @ Birth Bay

Thanks for the invitation from Elijah's fellowship, I joined their camping trip to Birch Bay, WA after English Sunday service on Aug 5, 2006.

Number of participants: 17 + 1 dog

Day 1 Departure time: 12:30pm
Border crossing wait time: 2 hrs+
Late lunch at Blaine's Subway (just past the border)

Walked to the beach and captured the sunset (while Horn checked out the reception for his cell phone)

Campfire (hymns singing & heat up marshmellows)

Day 2 We checked the tide schedule and learned that 10am will be low tide -and it was time for clamming!

We, including Pika the dog, dug holes and picked a whole bunch. The highlight was the finding of Geoduck clams (象拔蚌). The tide was already getting high after our visit.

For most of us, these seafood became our dinner.
